There are two options for students in the program: the M.Ed. track requires completion of the full course curriculum, while the Certificate track omits several of the courses in the "Professional Core" category. Students who choose the Certificate program are expected to hold a Master's degree in Education or a related field. About 90% of the program's students choose the Certificate track. It is assumed that these courses would be the same or comparable to other courses a student has already taken along his or her path to obtaining an M.A.T. or other similar Master's degree.
